Interpretation

The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

Definitions

• Service refers to the services and facilities made available through the Website, including vehicle enquiry, vehicle valuation enquiry, vehicle inspection arrangements, vehicle pickup and vehicle purchase and recycling-related services.

• Terms and Conditions, also referred to as “Terms”, mean these Terms and Conditions which govern your use of the Service and form the agreement between You and the Company regarding use of the Website.

• Third-Party Services means services, content, information, products, websites or platforms provided by third parties that may be linked to, displayed on or made available through the Website.

• Website refers to the Auto Scrap India website, accessible at https://autoscrapindia.com/.

• You, “Your” or “User” means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, where applicable.

Auto Scrap India is a private, independent vehicle scrap buyer and recycler. We are NOT affiliated with, authorized by, or an official portal of any Government agency, Regional Transport Office (RTO), or Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).

Auto Scrap India does not represent itself as a Government department, Government authority, RTO, Ministry, Government portal or Government-appointed agency.

Our business is limited to the purchase, collection, dismantling and recycling of eligible vehicles and related private-sector services.

Any reference on this Website to vehicle ownership information, registration-related information, documentation or other requirements is provided only for the purpose of facilitating the vehicle sale, verification and recycling process.

We do not provide or sell Government documents, Government certificates, RTO registrations, driving licences, vehicle registration certificates or other official Government services.

Where a matter requires action or approval from a Government department or statutory authority, the relevant Government authority remains responsible for that matter.

Vehicle Purchase and Recycling Services

Auto Scrap India may purchase eligible vehicles including, but not limited to:

• Old and end-of-life motorcycles and scooters;

• Old and end-of-life cars;

• Accident-damaged vehicles;

• Non-running vehicles;

• Commercial vehicles;

• Flood-damaged vehicles;

• Other eligible vehicles offered for scrap or recycling.

The availability of a particular service depends on the vehicle, its condition, location, ownership status and applicable requirements.

Submitting an enquiry through the Website does not guarantee that Auto Scrap India will purchase the vehicle.

Vehicle Ownership and Eligibility

You must have lawful ownership of the vehicle or have appropriate authority from the lawful owner to offer the vehicle for sale.

Auto Scrap India does not knowingly purchase vehicles that are:

• Stolen;

• Subject to an unresolved ownership dispute;

• Offered by a person who does not have authority to sell the vehicle;

• Subject to a legal restriction preventing its sale or disposal; or

• Otherwise prohibited from being purchased or recycled under applicable law.

We may request reasonable information or documents to verify ownership and eligibility before completing a vehicle transaction.

If ownership or authority to sell cannot be reasonably established, Auto Scrap India may decline the transaction.

Vehicle Enquiries and Valuation

Submitting a vehicle enquiry through the Website, telephone, WhatsApp or any other communication channel does not constitute a binding offer or agreement to purchase the vehicle.

Any valuation or price communicated before physical inspection should be treated as an indicative estimate, unless expressly confirmed as the final agreed purchase price.

The final valuation may depend on factors including:

• Make and model;

• Age of the vehicle;

• Physical condition;

• Mechanical condition;

• Accident or damage history;

• Completeness of the vehicle;

• Major components and parts;

• Scrap and recyclable material value;

• Vehicle location;

• Transportation and pickup considerations; and

• Other relevant factors identified during inspection.

Auto Scrap India reserves the right to revise an indicative valuation where the actual condition or circumstances of the vehicle differ materially from the information provided during the initial enquiry.

Vehicle Inspection

A vehicle may be inspected before a final purchase price is agreed.

Inspection may include assessment of the vehicle’s physical condition, major components, identification details, damage, completeness and other factors relevant to its purchase or recycling value.

The final transaction value will be based on the condition and circumstances of the vehicle at the time of inspection and the price mutually agreed between the parties.

Vehicle Pickup

Auto Scrap India may provide vehicle pickup services from eligible locations, subject to service availability and operational requirements.

Pickup arrangements may depend on:

• Vehicle location;

• Road accessibility;

• Vehicle condition;

• Availability of appropriate pickup equipment;

• Weather conditions;

• Traffic or transportation conditions;

• Safety considerations; and

• Other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

A pickup request or appointment does not by itself constitute acceptance of the vehicle or confirmation of a final purchase price.

Payment

Where a vehicle purchase is completed, payment may be made through an agreed electronic payment method, including:

• UPI;

• IMPS;

• NEFT; or

• Another mutually agreed payment method.

Payment will generally be processed after completion of the necessary inspection, verification and transaction formalities.

The payment amount will be based on the final purchase price mutually agreed between the seller and Auto Scrap India.

Users are responsible for providing accurate payment details and should verify such details before completing a transaction.

Vehicle Handover

Before handing over a vehicle, the owner should remove all personal belongings, documents, valuables and other items that are not intended to be transferred with the vehicle.

Auto Scrap India shall not be responsible for personal belongings or valuables left inside a vehicle after handover.

Once the vehicle has been inspected, the transaction has been completed and possession has been formally handed over, the vehicle may be transported, dismantled, processed or recycled in accordance with applicable requirements and Auto Scrap India’s operational procedures.

Dismantling and Recycling

Vehicles purchased by Auto Scrap India may be dismantled and processed for recovery, recycling and responsible disposal of recyclable or usable materials.

Vehicle components and materials may be handled in accordance with applicable environmental, safety and operational requirements.

The final method of processing or recycling may vary depending on the condition, components and recyclability of the vehicle.

Transaction Refusal or Cancellation

Auto Scrap India reserves the right to refuse, cancel or discontinue a proposed vehicle transaction where:

• Ownership cannot be satisfactorily verified;

• The seller does not have authority to sell the vehicle;

• Materially inaccurate or misleading information has been provided;

• The vehicle is suspected to be stolen or unlawfully possessed;

• The vehicle is subject to an unresolved legal or ownership dispute;

• Required verification cannot be completed;

• The actual condition of the vehicle materially differs from the information provided;

• Completing the transaction may violate applicable law or regulatory requirements; or

• Other reasonable circumstances prevent the transaction from being completed.

Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information published on our Website accurate and current.

However, information on the Website may occasionally contain errors, omissions or information that has become outdated.

Service availability, operating areas, contact information, valuation information and other details may be changed or updated without prior notice.

Termination

Translation and Interpretation

These Terms and Conditions may be made available in languages other than English for the convenience of users.

In the event of any inconsistency between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall prevail to the extent permitted by applicable law.
